Google Earth merupakan sebuah program globe virtual yang sebenarnya disebut Earth Viewer dan dibuat oleh Keyhole, Inc.. Program ini memetakan bumi dari superimposisi gambar yang dikumpulkan dari pemetaan satelit, fotografi udara dan globe GIS 3D.
Tersedia dalam tiga lisensi berbeda: Google Earth, sebuah versi gratis
dengan kemampuan terbatas; Google Earth Plus, yang memiliki fitur
tambahan; dan Google Earth Pro, yang digunakan untuk
penggunaan komersial.
Pertama download gdebi diubuntu software center pilih yang (78) agar google earth bisa diinstall lalu download google earth di http://dl.google.com/dl/earth/client/current/google-earth-stable_current_i386.deb #sthash.BuG4GGx2.dpuf
Jika sudah didownload buka file lalu klik kanan pilih opent with gdebi maka tampilannya akan seperti ini
Lalu klik install packages untuk menginstall aplikasi yang belum ada untuk membuka google earth
Tunggu sampai installasi package-nya selesai maka akan menginstall google earth secara otomatis
Installasi google earth selesai sudah
